Meet Robin
Robin came to Calvary in June of 1988 as the Office Manager (Finances and office staff). In 1998 she became the Ministry Coordinator and Personal Assistant to the Senior Pastor. She continues her role as Ministry Coordinator/Office Administrator. Robin desires to use her gifts in serving, administration and exhortation and leading people to delight in God and in His Word. She has completed three tracks of Biblical Counseling through NANC.
Some of the most influential people in her life have been her parents as they have modeled faithfulness in serving the Lord. They exemplified a servant-leadership model for her. At a young age she was teaching Sunday school and riding on the church bus and serving in AWANA. Robin’s parents still, to this day, are serving fulltime in an Evangelistic/Singing ministry. All of the pastors that have ministered to Robin throughout the years, have all impacted her in various ways. It was under the ministry of some that she learned what it means to give sacrificially to the ministry (both in finances and time). She also learned what it means to live a disciplined life and what it means to walk through a difficult trial and trust God to faithfully carry her through. She also appreciates the writings and teachings of Kay Arthur (Precept Ministries), Beth Moore (Living Proof Ministries), Elizabeth George, and John Piper (Desiring God Ministries).
Robin's passions include mentoring, discipling, and counseling women. She also enjoys her administrative and leadership role in leading the following ministries: Women's Ministries, Web site, Benevolence Ministry, Safe Haven Ministry, Office Administration, Ministry Coordination, and Administrative support to the Senior Pastor.
Robin and Randy have been blessed with 3 children: Randi (daughter), married to Dan Knap and their children, Carter and Tessa; Rob (son), married to Cara and their children, JoeAnna and Graham; and Rick (son), married to Lindsae.
