What is Worship Arts?
Worship is the whole-hearted response of the people of God, to the revelation of God in the person and work of Jesus Christ. It is a Christ-exalting celebration at Calvary. The arts (music, drama, visual, movement) are tools through which people can express worship. Music is a gift from God, intended to assist us as we develop and deepen our relationship with Him.
The Worship Arts Ministry at Calvary exists to cultivate worship and disciple Christ-followers. We cultivate worship by example as we lead Calvary in corporate worship by boldly proclaiming the glory of God and celebrating wonder of the Gospel. We disciple Christ-followers through training and deploying musicians, other artists and technicians who will humbly and skillfully serve God’s purposes for and through the church.
